Are there any reputable hair salons in Germany that you can recommend that specialize in black hair and can provide a decent relaxer? I will be living in northern Germany but am willing to travel anywhere in Germany, as well as to other countries nearby such as the Netherlands.

I responded to your previous q about relaxer. Sorry, I did not get the relaxer part. And you do not allow e-mail, so I am happy to find a similar q. I personally went into a salon in the Langemarckstrasse to ask about the relaxer, and the hairdresser confirmed that they do have it. There are Africans from Ghana (mainly), Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Niger and Nigeria to name a few. There are also a few Gospel Churches for the African community here in Bremen.


The hairdresser where I went is:

They do hair extensions, rasta, dreadlocks conrow, and have all hair care products. (And they confirmed that they have relaxer)


By the way, the ladies speak English. Because there are so many different African languages around here, the lingua franca is English. I hope this helps you.

here are a few link , feel free to check them out. in general you want to look where american military posts are (or used to be )and in big citys. a tip on the site, go on myspace and find some black american women that are stationed in germany and ask them where togo. otherwise i cant help you , i am white and have total straight hair
i don't think so...germany is prodominately white...that means srtait hair, unless you find a specialist, i dont think you'll have much luck in that categorie
