any salon can cut your hair. all you need to do is tell them that you're donating your hair. then, tie it in a ponytail or braid it and have the person cut ABOVE the hair tie to get the required length. from then on proceed with the hair cut as usual.then, take the hair home with you, put it in an envelope, and send it in. they have all the mailing info on their website, www.locksoflove.org

go to www.locksoflove.com they have a list of hair salons, but also do mention that most salons can cut your hair. They recommend that you have a minimum of ten inches, braided or in a pony tail. The hair must not touch the ground, and needs to be placed and sealed in a plastic bag. The address to where it can be sent is on the website and you can even get a certificate for donating. Its a rewarding experience!
